“Pilot” Implant (Replica)

Appearance: “Pilot” (1X79) of The X-Files, which premiered on the Fox network on September 10, 1993.

Item information: In the very first episode of The X-Files, Scully finds this metallic object, implied to be an alien implant, in the nasal cavity of a strange body. She presents it to Section Chief Blevins, and at the end of the episode we see the Cigarette Smoking Man securing the object. This replica, just like the Alien Firewand, was made for my friend Brian Terranova. I created the technical drawing and all necessary files, and the replica was manufactured in Germany using CNC machining. The material was originally intended to be stainless steel, but for technical reasons ended up being aluminum.
